On September 26, 2023, Élishia Sharie unleashed her debut album, The Phoenix Rises, expertly produced by Jay Vincent B, the great-grandson of the legendary American folk and blues singer Huddie “Lead Belly” Ledbetter. The Phoenix Rises also features the lyrical brilliance of rap sensation BRIELLE and the electrifying guitar prowess of Kellindo, renowned lead guitarist for the Alternative R&B luminary Janelle Monáe. The album is a powerful testament to resilience, transformation, and the indomitable human spirit, underscoring the belief that, much like a phoenix, we too can rise from life’s challenges and ascend to new heights.

Shortly after the release of her debut album, Élishia Sharie’s fierce vocals found their place in the all-female rock anthem, We Can Do It (Remix), collaborating with the acclaimed artist and “Queen of Bassists” Nik West. This remix also features the incredible talents of renowned drummer Cindy Blackman Santana and guitarist Lari Basilio.

While 2023 was an exceptional year filled with music releases, Élishia Sharie also brought her electricity to iconic stages like the Troubadour in Los Angeles, El Mocambo in Toronto, Canada, for Canadian Music Week, and Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta.
