Élishia Sharie, the Neo Alternative Rock artist from Los Angeles, CA, has emerged as a bold and electrifying presence on the music scene. Her sound transcends generations, blending classic 80’s rock, 90’s alternative, and punk rock with an unapologetically soulful vocal reminiscent of legends like Tina Turner and Betty Davis.
Élishia Sharie’s journey is one of perseverance and reclamation. After a 12-year battle to recover from vocal trauma, she made her powerful return with FIGHT!, an anthem that embodies the relentless pursuit of one’s dreams despite life’s obstacles.
She carried that same fire into The Phoenix Rises, her debut album produced by Jay Vincent B, the great-grandson of legendary folk and blues artist Huddie “Lead Belly” Ledbetter. The Phoenix Rises also features the dynamic lyricism of BRIELLE and the electrifying guitar work of Kellindo, renowned lead guitarist for Janelle Monáe.
Following the release of The Phoenix Rises, Élishia Sharie’s fierce vocals were featured in the all-female rock anthem We Can Do It (Remix), alongside acclaimed artist and “Queen of Bassists” Nik West, renowned drummer Cindy Blackman Santana, and guitarist Lari Basilio.
Beyond the studio, Élishia Sharie has set iconic stages on fire, from the Troubadour in Los Angeles and El Mocambo in Toronto to Wasteland Weekend Festival, where she delivered a powerful closing set. She’s also lit up the Renkus-Heinz Hilton stage at NAMM and headlined back-to-back shows in Times Square at the Hard Rock Cafe New York for International Women’s Day.
With an undeniable stage presence, raw vocal power, and recently becoming a Recording Academy voting member, Élishia Sharie continues to make her mark in rock, pushing boundaries and bringing a fresh energy to the genre.
